JRT Reading your Agreement & Bullying and Harassment
Please note: You may register for 'Reading your Agreement', 'Bullying, Harassment and Discrimination' or both sessions. If you wish to attend only one of these sessions, please clearly specify this at the time of your registration.
- Reading your Agreement: 9am - 12pm
- Bullying, Harassment and Discrimination: 1pm - 4.30pm
What is the aim of the program?
The aim of this combined program is to equip Reps with a comprehensive understanding of both bullying, harassment and discrimination issues, preparing them for initial and preliminary conversations with members and guiding them appropriately. Additionally, it will provide Reps with a solid foundation in reading and understanding enterprise bargaining agreements, covering their structure, content, and legal status.
What does the program cover?
Reading your agreement: We discuss basic principles for reading and applying enterprise bargaining agreement provisions and outline some of the golden rules and common pitfalls that can occur and provide information about the support and advice available through the ANMF (Victorian Branch)
Bullying, Harassment and Discrimination: We identify relevant legislation to provide a broad legal context for addressing such matters, outlining the ANMF (Victorian Branch) processes and the preliminary steps a Rep can take when members raise such issues. Reps will also consider and respond to various scenarios to clarify and reinforce best practice responses and available referral options.
Length of program
4 hours OR 1-day training program
Who should attend?
