What is the aim of the program?
This program is designed to give Reps a broad understanding of the structure, content, and legal status of enterprise bargaining agreements. 
 
What does the program cover?
We discuss basic principles for reading and applying enterprise bargaining agreement provisions and outline some of the golden rules and common pitfalls that can occur and provide information about the support and advice available through the ANMF (Victorian Branch)

Catering will be provided for morning tea only, as the program concludes at lunch time

Who should attend?
All new and existing ANMF Reps are encouraged to attend.

Paid union training leave
Depending on the entitlements in the applicable enterprise agreement, Reps may be eligible to receive paid union training leave from their employer to participate in this program. If there is no entitlement and the employer will not provide paid training leave, Reps may be eligible to apply for an ANMF 'loss of pay' subsidy when taking leave without pay to attend. Once registered, Reps will be provided with written confirmation, and a letter to be forwarded to their relevant NUM/MUM/Line Manager requesting leave to participate in union training.
