We are conducting this program in Wangaratta on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 April. We encourage all new and existing Job Reps to attend, completion of the Job Rep Foundations is not a pre-requisite to attend.
What is the aim of the program?
The aim of our Job Rep Foundations program is to provide Job Reps with the essential tools and knowledge to perform their role.
What does the program cover?
The program examines the structure and functions of the ANMF and the historical and current role of the unions. We explain your role as a Job Rep and provide information, materials and resources so you can set in motion ANMF activity in your workplace.
Length of training program
1-day training program
Job Rep Foundations Online module
This program is complemented by the Job Rep Foundations online module, that will take approximately 2 hours to complete. This module can be accessed by logging into the online CPD portal.
Please note it is not mandatory to complete the online module prior to attending this program.
Who should attend?
All new and existing ANMF Reps are encouraged to attend. This program is also recommended as a refresher for those who have not attended training for three or more years.

Once you have answered the required questions below, make sure you click "Save Responses" before clicking "Complete Registration". Without saving your responses, your registration will not be finalised. After completing your registration, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
Job Rep Training and Leave Entitlements
Depending on the entitlements in the applicable enterprise agreement, Job Reps may be eligible to receive paid union training leave from their employer to participate in these programs. If there is no entitlement and the employer will not provide paid training leave, Job Reps may be eligible to apply for an ANMF 'loss of pay' subsidy when taking leave without pay. Once registered, Job Reps will be provided with written confirmation, and a letter to be forwarded to their relevant NUM/MUM/Line Manager requesting leave to participate in union training.
