JRT Online Keeping it Organised Program 2
To ensure you get the full experience of our online
training, we strongly recommend using a desktop or laptop computer. Our
sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams and include interactive activities
on a Miro board, which require access to a separate web browser. Using a mobile
phone for participation is not encouraged as it may limit your ability to fully
engage with the training content and tools. If using a mobile phone is your
only option, please contact our team to discuss further prior to registering.
Keeping it Organised Program 2 is designed to assist Reps in developing the skills and strategies needed to progress workplace issues and enhance union presence. This program focuses on topics including the enterprise bargaining agreement processes and the role of the Job Rep, effective problem-solving techniques, and communication strategies.
Keeping it Organised is divided into two parts: Program 1 and Program 2. To get the most out of your experience, we recommend completing both programs. However, they can be taken in any order and within any timeframe that suits you.
Length of program

Who should attend?
All new and existing ANMF Reps are encouraged to attend. This program is also recommended as a refresher for those who have not attended training for three or more years.
Where practicable, we suggest at least two Job Reps attend from your workplace, to help implement program outcomes after training is completed.
Registering for this program
Please ensure you register for this program to secure your spot to attend. Once you have answered the required questions below, make sure to click "Save Responses" before clicking "Complete Registration". Without saving your responses, your registration will not be finalised. After completing your registration, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
A week prior to the training you will receive the Microsoft Teams link to join the meeting as well as some other important information for the day.
Job Rep Training and Leave Entitlements
Depending on the entitlements in the applicable enterprise agreement, Job Reps may be eligible to receive paid union training leave from their employer to participate in these programs. If there is no entitlement and the employer will not provide paid training leave, Job Reps may be eligible to apply for an ANMF 'loss of pay' subsidy when taking leave without pay to attend. Click here for more information.
Once registered, Job Reps will be provided with written confirmation, and a letter to be forwarded to their relevant NUM/MUM/Line Manager requesting leave to participate in union training.
If you have any questions regarding Job Rep training, please contact the ANMF on (03) 9275 9333 or email jrt@anmfvic.asn.au.
